About Frank

Frank John Latin is the founder of Frank’s Auto Body & Restoration Inc. in Madison, Ohio. His interest in cars started in childhood and was later enriched by his initial education in auto body repair at the Auburn Career Center.

After two years of technical training, Frank began his journey towards owning an auto repair shop of his own. That journey took him to multiple dealerships, where he worked alongside some exceptionally talented industry pros. He learned a lot from his work experience and was proud to open his own repair shop in 1993.

Focused on collision repair and auto restoration, Frank’s Auto Body is now home to I-CAR Gold-certified technicians with serious passion for the industry. Frank remains at the top of all business decisions and is committed to top-level training for every member of his team. His curiosity about the auto industry is still there, which leads him to study the latest technological developments and newest trends.

Frank’s roots are in the Madison, Ohio, community, and he can think of no better place to run his business. He was raised in a loving family and shared his childhood with a sister. He’s now committed to giving back to his fellow residents, which is why Frank’s Auto Body participates in multiple charity events each year. The shop even hosts an annual fundraiser that benefits various animal shelters in the Madison area.

Internships at Frank’s Auto Body are now offered to students of the Auburn Career Center. Frank wants to ensure that Madison, Ohio, always has at least one award-winning auto body service center. He gives back to his community by providing professional guidance and mentorship to students interested in pursuing auto body careers. He remembers his early years of learning about the auto body industry and wants to make sure that other students are encouraged to pursue their passion for cars.

In his free time, Frank is often tinkering with his motorcycle. He enjoys cruising through the more scenic areas of Ohio but finds meeting new people in his community just as worthwhile. Frank also spends time with his family and appreciates the support that they have provided to his developing business over the years. He looks forward to seeing how Madison will grow in the years to come.

About Frank’s Auto Body

When Frank J Latin opened his first auto body shop in 1993, he was living out one of his biggest dreams. After two years of technical training and many more years learning from other experienced auto body technicians, he was excited to build a new business in his hometown of Madison, Ohio.

Frank’s established a location in a rental building, and the business thrived in that location until 2003. That’s when he purchased the property that houses his current auto body shop.
It took approximately one year for Frank’s Auto Body to fully move into the new location on North Ridge Road in Madison, Ohio. Frank has operated his business from that location for more than 15 years and has turned it into an award-winning facility with state-of-the-art equipment. The facility now processes approximately 60 cars per month and is a well-respected I-CAR Gold-certified shop.
